SAP S/4HANA.
Greenfield, brownfield, and RISE/GROW modernization — S/4HANA delivered the way SAP designed it, clean-core and AI-ready.
SAP S/4HANA — delivered the way SAP designed it.
SAP S/4HANA is SAP’s flagship cloud ERP — in-memory, AI-embedded, and available as S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition (RISE) or S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (GROW).
The three migration paths — named plainly
A fresh S/4HANA build. Re-engineer processes to the SAP standard, migrate only the data you need, start clean. Best when legacy processes carry more debt than value.
Fastest route to S/4HANA. An in-place technical conversion of your existing ECC system, preserving configuration and data. Needs a custom-code and clean-core remediation plan.
Stand up a new S/4HANA system but carry over selected data, processes, and configuration — restructuring what you keep. A partial reset without a full greenfield.
What we deliver
- Fit-to-Standard workshops — adopting standard S/4HANA processes; we document decisions and minimize custom scope.
- Full-lifecycle implementation on SAP Activate — Discover → Prepare → Explore → Realize → Deploy → Run, senior-led.
- SAP Cloud ALM — where clients still run SAP Solution Manager, we manage the transition (SolMan mainstream maintenance ends 2027).
- RISE / GROW advisory and delivery — the decision with the reasoning, not just the answer.
- Clean-core advisory — side-by-side BTP extensions over in-stack modifications, so every upgrade and every Joule agent drops in cleanly.
- Data migration & cutover — extraction, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, with go-live dress rehearsals.
SAP Activate, phase by phase
- Discover — readiness assessment and the initial business case, before you commit budget.
- Prepare — project governance, team mobilization, and environment provisioning.
- Explore — Fit-to-Standard workshops, configuration decisions, and delta design for anything that genuinely needs to differ from the standard.
- Realize — build and configure, iterative testing, and data migration execution.
- Deploy — cutover planning and execution, go-live.
- Run — hypercare immediately post-go-live, then transition into ongoing Application Management.
Clean-core principles
- ABAP Cloud development model — new custom code written to the restricted, upgrade-stable API set rather than free-form ABAP against the core.
- BTP-side extensions — RAP-based apps and SAP Build used for anything that would otherwise become an in-stack modification.
- Side-by-side extensibility as the default pattern, keeping the core untouched and every future upgrade — and every future Joule agent — dropping in cleanly.
Data migration, in practice
- LTMOM and LTMC — SAP’s migration cockpit tooling for object modeling and migration execution.
- Migration objects scoped and sequenced against a data quality assessment done up front, not discovered during cutover.
- Mock migrations run repeatedly before go-live to work out load timing and defects.
- Cutover strategy — defined freeze periods and, where the business requires continuity, a parallel run before final switchover.
RISE vs GROW
- Private Edition (RISE) — CPEA-contracted, suited to existing SAP customers with an established data and process base; typical go-live in 6–18 months depending on scope.
- Public Edition (GROW) — greenfield, quarterly SAP-managed updates, and with SAP’s Accelerators, a realistic 8–12 week path to go-live for organizations that can adopt the standard.
Solution Manager to Cloud ALM
- The transition from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM is included in scope for every S/4HANA engagement — not sold as a separate project later.
