Enterprise AI & Forward Deployed Engineering

Connect your information.
Move work forward.

IOTEK CONSULTING LLC designs and integrates AI-enabled workflows that help your teams find the right information, make informed decisions, and carry work through to completion.

We combine SAP consulting experience with platform-agnostic forward deployed engineering, working alongside business and technology teams to connect applications, data, and workflows with accountable human oversight.

We are also applying forward deployed engineering within IOTEK CONSULTING, connecting information and developing AI-assisted workflows under human oversight. Our ongoing internal transformation informs how we test and refine our methods, with people accountable for decisions and outcomes.

The opportunity

When information is scattered,
work slows down.

A prospect’s history lives in a CRM, an important commitment sits in an email, and the evidence needed for a decision is buried in shared documents. People spend time reconstructing context, chasing updates, and moving the same information between tools.

We build workflows that retrieve relevant evidence, prepare a recommendation or draft, route it to the right owner, and complete approved actions in the systems your business already uses.

Connected work across existing systemsExisting business systems provide information to a connected workflow. AI supports finding information, preparing decisions and carrying out approved work. Connect existing systems with clear human ownership.

One connected process

  1. Connect permitted business systems, collaboration, and knowledge.
  2. Find relevant context and preserve source links.
  3. Prepare recommendations for accountable reviewers.
  4. Carry out approved steps and route exceptions to people.

Illustrative solutions

Start with the work
that needs to move.

Possible workflows, designed around your systems, permissions, and priorities. These are examples—not customer case studies or performance claims.

01 / REVENUE

Turn account context into a clear next action.

Bring authorized account signals together into a source-linked brief, identify missing qualification details, and prepare a tailored outreach draft.

Account signals → brief → human review → approved communication → CRM next step

Measure: preparation time, qualification completeness, and follow-up completion.

02 / KNOWLEDGE

Move from scattered knowledge to stronger proposals.

Connect approved service descriptions, relevant expertise, and prior answers. Prepare a working draft that makes missing evidence visible.

Approved library → evidence → draft → expert review → controlled handoff

Measure: draft preparation, reviewer rework, and unsupported claims caught before release.

03 / OPERATIONS

Keep requests moving across teams.

Classify requests, gather permitted context, identify missing information, and route the next step to the right owner.

Request → completeness checks → owner routing → approved update → closure

Measure: assignment time, handoff delay, reopened requests, and exception rate.

04 / VISIBILITY

Make operational exceptions easier to understand.

Connect authorized operational information, highlight discrepancies, and prepare an explanation linked to the underlying evidence.

Records → checks → exception summary → reviewer → approved follow-up

Measure: explanation time, unresolved exception age, and reviewer corrections.

Revenue outcomes depend on market fit, execution, and the sales cycle. People retain authority over accounting judgments, approvals, and financial actions.

How we help

From a business problem
to a working workflow.

Forward deployed engineering means working closely with your users, process owners, and technology team in the environment where the work happens.

01

Workflow Opportunity and Design

Map the current process, its owners, systems, and friction. Compare native product features, conventional automation, and AI-enabled approaches before deciding what to build.

You receive

A prioritized recommendation, current and future process maps, an integration and access outline, baseline measures, and a scoped delivery approach.

02

Embedded Build and Integration

Connect authorized sources, configure or develop the required components, and place review and approval steps where judgment or risk requires them. Users evaluate realistic scenarios before release.

You receive

The configured workflow, integration components, documented tests and limitations, user guidance, and a launch and rollback plan.

03

Operate and Improve

Keep the workflow useful as business needs, source data, and technology change. Monitoring, evaluation, incident triage, and controlled improvements can follow an agreed support arrangement.

You receive

Clear ownership, runbooks, agreed service boundaries, and a measured improvement backlog—or the documentation for your team to take ownership.

Built for your environment

Platform-agnostic.
Accountable by design.

We assess the applications and native capabilities you already use before recommending additional tools or custom engineering. SAP can be part of the environment; it is not a requirement for getting started.

Access follows authorization. Source permissions, sensitive information, retention needs, and allowed actions shape the design.

Evidence stays visible. Drafts and recommendations link to source information where practical. Missing or conflicting evidence is surfaced.

Approvals are explicit. External communications, commitments, and sensitive updates follow the agreed review path.

Exceptions have owners. The workflow can stop, escalate, or return work to a person.

Operations are planned. Evaluation, logs, monitoring, recovery, and support responsibilities are part of release planning.

Questions buyers ask

Before you get started.

Do we need to replace our systems?

Usually the starting point is the environment you already use. We assess integration options, native features, access, and constraints before proposing changes.

Is this only for SAP customers?

No. The service is platform-agnostic and can connect SAP and non-SAP environments. The appropriate tools depend on the workflow and your architecture.

How is this different from a chatbot?

A conversational interface may be useful, but the focus is the complete workflow: information, evidence, decisions, approved actions, and operational ownership.

Can agents act without a person?

Some bounded, low-risk actions may be suitable for agreed automation. Action scope and approval rules are defined explicitly; sensitive actions do not become autonomous by default.

How do we know whether it is working?

We establish baseline measures, test realistic scenarios, and compare results with agreed acceptance criteria. We also track errors, exceptions, and reviewer effort.

Discuss your workflow

Tell us where your team loses time, context, or momentum.

We will discuss the process, the systems involved, and the outcome that matters, then agree whether there is a practical next step.
